Ormiston Walkathon: Day 1

A feisty bunch of walkers headed southbound out of Moose Jaw at 6 am. Today, our group consisted of 10 core walkers and two short-distance guest walkers. We trekked until 2 pm, after travelling a distance of 31 kilometres. We were well fed and watered thanks to our support crew, who delivered breakfast, lunch and beverages throughout the day. In the afternoon, we were shuttled back to our central location of Wakamow Valley, where we’ve spent the rest of the day with our feet up. Tomorrow, 10 walkers destined for Ormiston will depart from Conn’s Corner at 6:30 am, joined by more guest walkers. All are welcome to walk with us at any point along the way.
