A big thanks to everyone for their enthusiasm and encouragement. Also, a big thanks to all who came to the Ormiston Social by foot or by car or by scooter or by half ton, for all of the cheers and greetings.
The Walkathon Team chose the Heart and Stroke Foundation as our official charity. So far, more than $3,000 has been pledged. (Donations are still being collected, here.) And watch the Assiniboia Times this week, as their reporter spoke to us after the walk on Friday for a story in the next edition.
Cheers! Until next time…
