The community was established in 1910. Well, we missed the centennial! But we will celebrate 102 years with a fond look back and a gathering of folks who have been connected with Ormiston, Saskatchewan at a get-together, August 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2012.
We will assemble in Moose Jaw and Ormiston over the long weekend in August 2012. Folks who are now or were ever residents of Ormiston and district are asked to plan to attend. Residents and friends from neighboring communities are invited.
Fellows that worked at the plant, as an employee, a summer student or a contractor are welcome at the reunion. Relatives and friends who visited Ormiston and connected with the community, as well as their loved ones will hopefully be back. Next generations who wish to learn of their parents or grandparents past can do so at the reunion. All the farmers, ranchers and hired hands connected to the district are expected to turn up to reminisce and enjoy the weekend.
Scroll through the website and get reacquainted with the main street, the plant, the school, the district and the community that connected everyone with Ormiston, Saskatchewan. Then, most importantly, register for the big weekend. Also help get the word to folks you know that might be interested in attending at www.OrmistonReunion.com.

Ormiston Reunion 2012

I grew up in a small town
Wheat fields for a downtown kind of place
There was really not much around
You blink and you miss it
The best things things around that I have ever seen
Came from small towns and big dreams
