Darn!  We finally got rid of the old combination lock boxes.  We only had to remember our key and what time the lobby closed to pick-up our mail.  Then sometime in the 70’s, someone in Ottawa gave us a postal code.  Now we have to remember our post office box number and S0H 3H0.

Main Street.  Groceries and goods were bought at general stores, operated by various merchants over the years in Ormiston.  The railway and the elevators, the bowling alleys, pool halls, the car dealers, the gas stations, the cafes and the services are long gone now but the residents they served are scattered about and are ready to return to look back and meet old friends and neighbors.  Make sure to attend.

It will be like train day, pay day, sports day and last school day – all in one.
